Few pics taken on my recent trip to Tromso,Norway...I can only recommend it,but save a bit of money prior to departure,as 1 beer will cost you from £7 to £9,and if you're travelling with 2 thirsty individuals,your budget will get a bit tight :-)
The Aurora borealis,or Northern lights as it's commonly known we're far from spectacular,but just the look at it was amazing and definitelly worth every penny invested into this trip.Also the surrounding of Tromso is really pleasing to the eye (guess my tropics loving girlfriend would disagree on that point after 5 mins)...Tromso by itself is nothing special,but if you're there vist the Bla Rock Cafe ...nice place to get warm and have a look at some nice bartenders (girls/women :-) )...
Otherwise I recommend renting a car and just drive around the hilss/mountains of this area...
